In other words…

I had a great chat with someone today about fashion. We both agree that the trend following zombies who claim to love fashion-know nothing about it at all. Fashion is not about copying whats hot on the runway and calling it a day. Fashion is 60% creativity 20% boldness 15% skill and only 5% Popularity. Who cares what people thinnk of what you wear? It may end up in New York fashion week. You dont have to follow trends to be fashionable. Make your own style. A dress that doesn’t fit right? Re-invent the entire article to make it all your own!

I dont agree…
you do relize that all delias(like most mass produced clothing) does is make copies of desiger items. So shopping there would make you a trend zombie too

I think PUNKY is on to something there…sure it’s fine (and we’re all guilty of it) to shop in the mass production stores, but when it all comes down to it we all really copy someone. No one can truely say they are 100% original…because they had to get the idea from someone, right? My point is…we do the best we can to stand out from the crowd with our own fashion, but what we really want is our own style. They’re two very different things…

I agree with you Punky that a lot of mass prducing stores dopy designers but that still is no excuse to make your own styles and still dress there.
